California Apostille - Expedited Apostille and Authentication Services Serving Los Angeles & All 58

At Valley Livescan, we simplify the California Apostille process for documents intended for use in Hague Convention countries. Our experienced team has provided expert apostille services across Los Angeles and all 58 California counties. We are a registered service provider with the California Secretary of State, ensuring your documents are certified correctly and efficiently.

Los Angeles or Ventura County Certified Court Records

Do you need court records in order to obtain a visa or residency in another country?

In certain cases, you may need court records that will certify child custody arrangements, divorce decrees or other critical information that may be needed by the foreign nation to finalize your application.

Many countries may require the order to be apostilled to certify the authenticity of the order.

Only certified copies of the court order stamped and signed by the clerk of the court with a wet signature can be apostilled.  While you may have a copy of the order, it must have the certification and clerk's signature to be apostilled.

Valley Livescan can take the guesswork and hassle out of this process.  In most cases, we can obtain the certified court records for you (as long as you have the applicable case number(s)) AND obtain the California Secretary of State apostille within the next business day.

Valley Livescan can get a certified translation notarized and apostilled for you as well.  Certified translations are available for over 65 languages!

United States Department of State Apostille - Expedited Apostille Service

At Valley Livescan, we simplify the United States Department of State Apostille process for documents intended for use in Hague Convention countries. We provide walk-in service to the US Department of State for expedited apostille service for Federal documents (FBI Background Checks, etc).

Texas Apostille - Expedited Apostille Services

At Valley Livescan, we simplify the Texas Apostille process for documents intended for use in Hague Convention countries.  We can facilitate getting any Texas vital records or notarized documents apostilled for use in Hauge Convention Countries.

Mobile Apostille Services

Our Services

  • Expedited Apostille Service: Fast processing for documents issued in California.
  • Expedited Authentication or Legalization services for non-Hague Convention Countries:  For countries that are NOT a member of the Hague Convention, we provide expedited authentication services with the California Secretary of State AND the United States Department of State.  While more involved because it involves a state and federal authentication, we can move this process along for you as fast as possible!
  • Mobile Notary: We send a notary to your home or office to verify and      notarize documents (only available in Los Angeles or Ventura County)
  • Same Business Day Pickup and Delivery: Available in Los Angeles and Ventura for quick document handling.
  • Document Verification: Ensuring your documents meet apostille requirements.

Documents We Apostille

We handle a wide range of documents requiring a California, Texas,  or US Department of State Apostille, including:

  • Personal Documents: Adoption papers, affidavits, bank statements, car      titles, diplomas, medical records, power of attorney, passports,      transcripts, and more.
  • City, County, and State-Issued Documents: Birth, death, marriage      certificates, divorce decrees, court documents, police records, School Transcripts and more.
  • Business Documents: Articles of incorporation, by-laws, certificates of      good standing, commercial invoices, patents, trademarks and more.
  • FBI Background Checks
  • Certified Naturalization Certificates for foreign use

Note: Personal documents must be notarized before apostille. City, County, State or Federally issued documents with an official seal and signature typically do not require notarization.

Need an Apostille? Our experience can guide you through document requirements and scheduling. Contact us for same-day apostille service in Los Angeles or Ventura County and to arrange mobile notary or delivery.  We also offer expedited Apostille services in Texas.

We can also handle Federal Apostilles with the United States Department of State.  We have drop-off services in Washington, DC that can expedite your apostille requests.  Unlike California, State Department apostilles are not available same day and take longer to process.  Our drop-off service does put your Federal requests to the "top of the stack" for fastest processing.  We do not offer expedited Federal requests for immediate travel purposes.  Typical turnaround time varies based on State Department turnaround time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can get an apostille for California or Texas birth or death certificates?

The California or Texas Secretary of State can issue apostilles for signatures from:

No. The Secretary of State issues one type of apostille for all documents used abroad, regardless of the country.
